Normalizer Exception

Why does transform method for the Normalizer and Reformat class behave differently when false is returned?

The Normalizer throws an exception whereas the Reformat class skips writing the output and continues.

It would seem reasonable to expect similar behavior between the two classes.

  It should definitely behave consistently. We are going to change the Normalizer component to behave as Reformat. The change will make it to 2.2 release.
