I am having a major problem trying to get Clover GUI installed with Eclipse on Linux. Every time I try to add the site, it will not take my username and password the way it does on Windows. It just keeps coming back and prompting. I took the suggestion of a poster and went directly to the site and authenticated and downloaded the .zip file, but after unpacking and trying to add the local repository it still tries to make me authenticate and it won't take the password. How can I resolve this? Thanks.

Which version of eclipse do you use? In eclipse 3.4, I've noticed, that if you have more password protected update sites (e.g. commercial clover and evaluation clover), 3.4 plugin update manager may ask for passwords for all sites before moving on. Try to remove all Clover remote sites and update it only from local site.
