    Hi, starsailor,

How did you upgrade the Designer? Did you just replaced your license or you reinstalled it somehow? In the second case, it would be the best to uninstall it completely, delete all related files in Program Files and .eclipse directory in C:\Users\your_account\.eclipse and then install it again.

Or if palette is all you are missing, there is one thing you can try first. Click on Window -> Show View -> General -> Palette and palette should appear.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Here was the situation I upgraded from. I had a Designer trial that I installed back in Dec. 2012. After evaluation we puchased some licenses that other people in the company are using successfully. Now I need to start using my installation. So yesterday I installed my license and upgraded to the current version by clicking "Help->Check for Updates" and running the update.

Clicking "Help->About CloverETL Designer" currently reports Version: 3.4.0.041P.

Following your instructions to in "Click on Window -> Show View -> General -> Palette and palette should appear." doesn't work because I don't get a General menu item. Nor do any of the other menu items lead to a Palette choice. See the attached screen shot of the open menus. Also in the screen shot is an open new graph editor window. On the right edge of the that window you can see not indication of the palette, either expanded or collapsed.

For what it's worth I'm using Desigern as an full app and not an Eclipse plugin. Other people in the company that are using Designer as an Eclipse plugin have palettes in all the their graph editors.

FYI, a full uninstall/reinstall fixed the problem. I now get a palette in the graph editor. Thanks!

My bad, I accidentally skipped one step in my description. On your screenshot, you was supposed to click on "Other..." menu item and then you would see "General" menu item. Sorry for the confusion.

But I am glad the reinstallation helped anyway.

    Best regards,
