    Hi Staraptor78,

Thank you for your inquiry. Please see below to the list of questions that I would greatly appreciate your responses to. Answering these question will help me better assist you. I look forward to hearing from you.

1.) Which version of CloverDX Designer are you using? If you aren't running this graph locally (the one with the "SpreadSheetDataReader"), then what version of CloverDX Server are you using?
2.) Just to confirm, are you receiving this error message when dragging and dropping spreadsheets onto the "SpreadSheetDataReader" component and while also attempting to select sheets from within the "SpreadSheetDataReader"?
3.) Are you receiving this error message with all spreadsheets or only particular spreadsheets (for example the one high-lighted in the error message)?
4.) Regarding the error message, is that the only sub-directory within the data-in directory (DGW) your spreadsheets are contained in? If not, are you also receiving the error message when dragging the spreadsheets from other directories and/or sub-directories in your work-space?

    Best Regards,

    Hi Darvehng,

    Please see answers below:

1.) Which version of CloverDX Designer are you using? If you aren't running this graph locally (the one with the "SpreadSheetDataReader"), then what version of CloverDX Server are you using?

Currently using the latest version of CloverDX.

2.) Just to confirm, are you receiving this error message when dragging and dropping spreadsheets onto the "SpreadSheetDataReader" component and while also attempting to select sheets from within the "SpreadSheetDataReader"?

Both the drag and drop and selecting the sheet manualy through the datareader gives the aforementioned error.

3.) Are you receiving this error message with all spreadsheets or only particular spreadsheets (for example the one high-lighted in the error message)?

SOme spreadsheets work, some do not. But all of the spreadsheets are not corrupted in any way.

4.) Regarding the error message, is that the only sub-directory within the data-in directory (DGW) your spreadsheets are contained in? If not, are you also receiving the error message when dragging the spreadsheets from other directories and/or sub-directories in your work-space?

Yes DGW is the only folder in the data-in directory, but i've also tried creating a new directory, even a new project, but the error still remains

    Hi Staraptor78,
I presume that the issue occurs repeatedly for the same files. If my assumption is correct could you provide an example of such an Excel file so that I can test it on my end?
If my assumption is not correct can you confirm that at the time of the graph execution, the files:

    • are not used by any other program besides CloverDX,

    • are not moved or modified between the time of assigning the files to the SpreadsheetDataReade component,

    • can be opened by Microsoft Excel properly.

I also assume that this issue occurs even in the simplest graph (SpreadsheetDataReader -> Trash). If not, kindly attach the graph in the form of a .grf file.

Yes, reading the OP's description of the issue, I was thinking about an access problem due to the fact that another program is using the file as well, it's a common issue, not just for CloverDX, but pretty much for every program that uses spreadsheets, text documents, etc.
    Was that problem ever resolved?
