Just getting started evaluating CloverETL. I noticed that I had to select from a list of operating systems when downloading the Designer eval. Is this to indicate that the Designer is not pure JVM based?

Hi,
CloverETL runs in pure Java (1.5 and higher). The CloverETL Designer is build on top of Eclipse, so it runs everywhere where Eclipse runs. The eval download is a bundle of both Eclipse and Designer, so you do not have to download them separately. And Eclipse has specific version for different operating systems, that's the reason you had to select an operating system.
