Problem w/ setting up read data from remote FTP location

I am using CloverEtl Designer 2.8.1. I'm trying to set up the UniversalDataReader to read a csv file from remote FTP server.
I was able to set up and validate connection via the connection wizard( e.g. ftp://user:password@ftp.xxxxx.com) in the URL File Dialog. When I click the 'Refresh' button to display the file structure of the server in the left pane. I get a 'WARNING This Browser does not support this protocol' message.

  Hello,
  URLBrowser can only browse through local urls. Remote file can't be validated. If the file doesn't exist you should see warning on the component and in Problems tab.
