How to poll a directory for extracting a file

Can any one help me with the steps on polling a directory to retrieve a file as and when it is placed in the specified directory ?

I need this to be evaluated in the Trial Edition.

  Unfortunately, polling directories is not possible to do in the CloverETL Designer but it is possible to do that in CloverETL Server. CloverETL server offers File event listeners, which allow you to monitor changes on a specific file system path and react to such an event with a predefined task.
