Hi,
I'm trying to setup a SFTP listener in clover 4.4. I want to authenticate with a private key.
The documentation doesn't say where I should put the key on the server?
Can someone explain where I'm supposed to put the key.
Thanks
John

Has anybody really not tried this?
Thanks

Hi John,
Unfortunately, this is currently not implemented, so a private key authentication cannot be configured for a SFTP file listener. However, I've created an improvement proposal in our system. For the time being I cannot guarantee that it will be implemented but our developers will definitely take a look at it and decide if and when it will be implemented. You can watch the state of this issue here: https://bug.javlin.eu/browse/CLO-10299
I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Is it still the case that this isn't implemented? It looks like that bug is still open, but the below page of the docs lists it as a way to authenticate for sftp: SFTP (SSH/FTP) - SSH File Transfer Protocol (username+private key authentication) URL example:

Hi Jon,
Unfortunately, it is not implemented. The documentation is not correct in this particular case as the only option is to use a password. We are going to fix the documentation. Thank you for pinpointing the misinformation.
