Is it possible to organize a workspace with subdirectories?
Goal would be to create multiple subdirectories within a workspace where each subdirectory contains multiple projects. I would then have the ability to use the left panel Navigator to collapse and expand subdirectory views as desired.
Any attempt to create a directory requires specifying a parent directory from an existing project instead of the workspace.

Hi,
Unfortunately, this behavior is not supported by Eclipse. You can create subfolders, however, the structure won't be visible in the Navigator pane.
If the projects are completely independent, I would suggest you organize them by workspace. You can then switch between workspaces (File -> Switch Workspace) to make sure your projects are not mixed up.
