Error executing Job Flow

    Hello Kullboys,
the error message indicates that you attempted to execute a jobflow from a local project in CloverETL Designer while jobflow execution, in fact, requires CloverETL Server environment (in other words, it needs to be launched from a server project). CloverETL Server is a server application for running, scheduling and monitoring ETL graphs which are designed in the CloverETL Designer. Jobflows allow combining ETL graphs together with other activities into complex processes - providing orchestration, conditional job execution, and error handling. They are designed in the Designer but require the Server in order to be executed. So to sum up, having the evaluation copy does not determine the limitation indicated by the error message. If you already have a CloverETL Server up and running, the resolution is as simple as right-clicking the project and selecting the ‘Convert to Server project’ option and following the conversion wizard. If you don’t have CloverETL Server licensed at all, you won’t be able to launch the jobflow.
Anyway, I will like to find out more about what you are trying to achieve here. Getting a better understanding of your use case could help me aim you in the right direction. Feel free to reach out back to me with the following items of information:
    • What sort of action did you intend to perform in the jobflow (for example, a file operation, a child graph execution etc.)?

    • Ideally, attach the jobflow to the post (after masking any sensitive data in it).

    • Do you have a CloverETL Server evaluation copy as well?

    • What is your current CloverETL Designer (and potentially Server) version (for example, 4.8.2)?

    Kind regards,
