Users are experiencing an error reading “DATA MANAGER USER LIMIT EXCEEDED” when they log in to the CloverDX Server Console. The message only appears in CloverDX Server 6.5.0 and newer.
This error appears if there is a user group(s) that has the All permissions options selected. This error has no negative impact on the functionality of your Server, and you can continue using CloverDX Server for both development and production without interruption.
While we are working on a permanent solution to prevent this situation in one of our future releases, you can use the following workaround to prevent the error from appearing:
- Go to Server Console > Configuration > Groups.
- Locate Administrator group (and any other group that has All Permissions checked).
- Uncheck All Permissions.
- Check all items directly under All Permissions, except Data Manager.
- Repeat for other groups that might have All Permissions selected.
